Elder Law

Our firm’s Elder Law practice focuses on quality legal counseling and advocating for the senior client. As our clients reach their golden years they want to be certain that they have adequately planned for long-term care (including nursing home or assisted living placement), illness, incapacity and death. We strive to help seniors work through an often complex process by helping locate the appropriate type of care which can include estate planning and Medicaid qualification and by using legal strategies unique to the elderly.

Our firm assists individuals in pre-death planning for the distribution of assets at death, including preparation of wills and trusts. We also assist clients in business succession planning. State, Local, Municipal & Special District Law

The attorneys in our firm who practice in the State, Local, Municipal & Special District Law area have knowledge in the areas of powers and liabilities of the state, counties, cities and special districts, including administrative appeals and litigation. We are well versed in the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act, which deals with administrative hearings and adjudication, administrative investigations, administrative officers and agents, administrative rulemaking, licensing, and regulatory enforcement.
